Shanghai Shipping Exchange: The export container transport market in China is basically stable this week.
According to the Shanghai Shipping Exchange, this week, the Chinese export container shipping market remained generally stable, with most route markets seeing a decline in freight rates, dragging down the comprehensive index. On the European route, the lack of further growth momentum in transportation demand, coupled with a lack of support in the supply-demand fundamentals, led to continued adjustment in market freight rates. On the North American route, transportation demand remained stable, driving market freight rates to continue to rise. On the Persian Gulf route, the weak growth in transportation demand led to a continued decline in market freight rates. On the Australia-New Zealand route, overall transportation demand remained stable, with market freight rates continuing to adjust after a sustained increase in the previous period. On the South American route, transportation demand showed weakness, with the supply-demand balance situation not ideal, leading to a decline in market freight rates.
