According to the Zhitong Financial APP, the State Council Office recently issued the "Overall Plan for the Three-North Project". The plan proposes that the third phase of the Three-North Project will be divided into three stages of construction. Among them, the period from 2021 to 2030 will focus on six stages of construction, making efforts to fight key battles such as the "Ji Zi Wan" curve of the Yellow River, the annihilation battle in the Keerqin and Hunshandake deserts, and the border blocking battle at the edge of the Hexi Corridor - Taklimakan Desert. The period from 2031 to 2050 will focus on the seventh and eighth stages of construction. The seventh stage will mainly focus on consolidating the achievements of the sixth stage of construction and continuously improving the vegetation cover in key areas, while the eighth stage will mainly focus on improving quality and efficiency, and overall enhancing the quality and stability of the ecological system.
