Google Cloud and the UK Ministry of Defence sign a 400 million contract to provide sovereign cloud services.

On September 12th, Google Cloud announced that they have secured a contract worth 400 million to provide the UK Ministry of Defense with UK sovereign cloud services. Google Cloud stated that they will provide the Ministry of Defense with secure cloud infrastructure for secure information processing, supporting the application of artificial intelligence and cybersecurity tools.
