According to the Smart Finance and Economics APP, on September 12th, the China Banking and Insurance Regulatory Commission revised and issued the "Regulations on the Evaluation of Consumer Rights Protection in Financial Institutions," which will take effect from the date of publication. The "Evaluation Regulations" consist of six chapters and thirty-one articles, with five main revisions: adjusting the scope of evaluation to include financial leasing companies and pension insurance companies; optimizing evaluation factors; improving evaluation procedures; strengthening coordination between superiors and subordinates; and deepening the use of evaluation results. Financial institutions with good evaluation results will receive positive incentives, while those with poor evaluation results will be subject to corresponding regulatory measures in accordance with the law.
