European oil and gas stocks traded lower at the opening due to increasing concerns about oversupply. Brent crude oil fell by 0.7% to $65.93 per barrel, still under pressure. Derren Nathan, stock research director at Hargreaves Lansdown, said that the unexpected increase of 390,000 barrels in US stocks last week, combined with plans by OPEC+ members to increase production, has raised concerns in the market about oversupply. In London, BP's stock price fell by 0.7% and Shell fell by 0.15%. TotalEnergies in France dropped by 0.65%, Repsol in Spain and Eni in Italy each fell by around 0.4%.
