On September 12, the China Consumers Association stated in an article that against the backdrop of the continued decline in marriage rates, the marriage and love service industry was originally meant to help young people broaden their social channels, alleviate marriage and love anxiety, and promote the formation of families. However, from the complaints received by the national consumer associations so far this year, disputes over marriage and love services are on the rise. Some marriage agencies have turned marriage and love services into "emotional consumption traps", deviating from the original intention of the industry that should have helped young people move towards marriage.
