On September 11, local time, Vale informed that the company has obtained the operating permit for the related operations of the expansion project with an annual production capacity of 20 million tons at the South Ridge mine. This operating permit was issued by the Brazilian Institute of Environment and Renewable Natural Resources (IBAMA). The project is expected to start trial operation in the second half of 2026.
