On September 11, it was learned from the opening ceremony of the 2025 National Inspection and Testing Institution Open Day event held in Hangzhou that inspection and testing are the core components of the national quality infrastructure. In recent years, the State Administration for Market Regulation has regarded inspection and testing as an important lever to foster new industries, new models, and new dynamics. More than 1,200 inspection and testing public service platforms have been set up, solving over 20,000 product quality issues. A total of 874 national quality inspection centers have been planned and constructed to provide high-end inspection and testing services for emerging industries. Facing the new opportunities and challenges of the era of artificial intelligence, the State Administration for Market Regulation will guide inspection and testing institutions to actively participate in creating an innovation hub for artificial intelligence inspection and testing, establishing intelligent testing standards, and nurturing a cross-sectoral industry collaborative innovation community.
