Dutch International: There is still a risk of the pound falling before the budget is announced.

Dutch international analyst Pesolei said that there is still a risk of a fall in the pound due to concerns about the sustainability of the UK's finances before the Autumn Budget is announced on November 26. He said that the pound has recently strengthened against the euro as UK long-term government bonds rebounded from last week's sell-off. Compared to the euro and the US dollar, the pound is more sensitive to the sell-off of long-term government bonds, which means that there is still a risk before the budget is announced. However, during periods of stability in UK government bonds, due to the cautious stance of the Bank of England on interest rate cuts, short-term interest rates rise, making selling the pound "expensive".
