Reporters learned that McDonald's China has officially launched the 2025 national recruitment week. Against the backdrop of ongoing digital transformation this year, McDonald's is recruiting for six core restaurant positions, attracting diverse talent in the AI era and promoting high-quality employment for local talent, especially young people. According to reporters, it is estimated that about 15,000 people will be recruited for comprehensive positions in the Shanghai area this year. Currently, there are about 16,000 employees in the Shanghai market, with post-95s accounting for over 40% and post-00s accounting for about 30%. As of March this year, there are over 7,000 McDonald's restaurants on the Chinese mainland, employing over 200,000 people and serving over 1.3 billion customers last year. In 2017, McDonald's China entered the "Golden Arches Era," accelerating development in a more localized manner, deepening the local supply chain system, and promoting comprehensive digital transformation, aiming to reach the goal of 10,000 restaurants.
