On May 21, WeRide, the autonomous driving company, released its financial report for the first quarter of 2025. The total revenue for the first quarter was 72.44 million yuan, with a gross profit margin of 35.0%. Revenue from Robotaxi reached 16.1 million yuan, accounting for a significantly increased proportion of 22.3% of total revenue. The company deepened its strategic cooperation with Uber and received an additional $100 million in equity investment from Uber. At the same time, the company announced that the board of directors had authorized the repurchase of up to $100 million worth of shares within the next 12 months.
