Hubei Provincial Meteorological Observatory issued an orange provincial-level alert for heavy rain at 16:14 on May 21st. It is expected that from the early morning of the 22nd to the early morning of the 23rd, there will be widespread heavy to torrential rain in Hubei, with heavy rain in Yichang, Jingzhou, Xiantao, southern Wuhan, and Xianning, and locally severe rainstorms.
