Wang Yi will preside over the third China-Pacific Island Countries Foreign Ministers' Meeting.

The spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that Wang Yi, member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Minister of Foreign Affairs, will preside over the third China-Pacific Island Countries Foreign Ministers' Meeting in Xiamen, Fujian Province on May 28-29. Foreign Ministers or representatives from Kiribati, Niue, Tonga, Nauru, Federated States of Micronesia, Solomon Islands, Vanuatu, Papua New Guinea, Cook Islands, Fiji, and Samoa, as well as the Deputy Secretary General of the Pacific Islands Forum, will be invited to attend.
