Baidu founder Robin Li recently announced that in the next five years, Baidu will increase its efforts to cultivate 10 million AI talents for society. It is reported that Baidu proposed a plan in 2020 to cultivate 5 million AI talents within five years, and has already completed it ahead of schedule in 2024. Building upon the "5 million AI Talent Plan," Baidu has also launched the "Baidu Talent Development Galaxy" plan to cultivate another 5 million talents in large-scale models. At the same time, Baidu continues to carry out multiple AI talent development projects, with the "Baidu Star" programming competition being held for over 20 years, attracting more than 300,000 participants and becoming a benchmark event in the domestic programming field.
