The Inter-Ministerial Joint Conference on the Implementation of the Chemical Weapons Convention was held in Beijing.

On May 21st, the seventh plenary meeting of the inter-ministerial joint meeting on the implementation of the Chemical Weapons Convention was held in Beijing. The meeting emphasized the need to effectively coordinate the national implementation work, strengthen the construction of the implementation work system, better play the role of the joint meeting system, strengthen inter-provincial coordination, and build a national implementation work pattern of "one chess game". It is necessary to conscientiously implement the implementation work, rigorously and meticulously carry out key implementation work such as international inspections, destruction of abandoned chemical weapons, and prevention of export proliferation, promote the revision of the Regulations on the Management of Chemicals, prevent and resolve implementation risks, achieve high-quality development and high-level safe and benign interactions. Efforts should be made to strengthen the implementation of the talent team, improve the level of implementation capabilities, and provide strong talent support for deepening participation in international exchange and cooperation in implementation.
