The Indian SENSEX30 index opened 0.17% higher at 81327.61 points. Among the component stocks, HCL TECHNOLOGIES opened 0.7% higher, HDFC BANK rose 0.59%, and TATA STEEL gained 0.44%. On the downside, JSW STEEL opened 0.66% lower, ADANI PORTS dropped 0.6%, and Power Grid Corporation of India fell 0.23%.
