Shen Xiang, Director of the West Asia and Africa Department of the Ministry of Commerce, stated that in recent years, African countries have seen steady economic development, with the overall business environment continuing to improve, and Chinese enterprises showing significantly increased investment interest in Africa. According to statistics, in the past 5 years, Chinese enterprises' direct investment in Africa has remained above $3 billion annually, with investment projects covering a wide range of areas including infrastructure, agriculture, processing manufacturing, finance, digital economy, commercial trade, and services.
