It was learned from the press conference on promoting the "Bay Area Standards" to assist in the "soft interconnection" of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area held by the State Administration for Market Regulation in Guangzhou that 9 latest "Bay Area Standards" will soon be officially implemented.
The first category focuses on the scientific and technological achievements and cutting-edge technologies of the Greater Bay Area. It includes 3 standards: "Requirements for tone value calculation and application in printing process control," "Technical specifications for lightning protection in integrated bridge, island, and tunnel buildings," and "Planning and design specifications for information and communication infrastructure projects."
The second category focuses on the cooperation among government and business entities in the three regions. It includes 3 standards: "Technical specifications for cross-border identity authentication of legal entities and other organizations," "Operating standards for jewelry retail enterprises," and "Specifications for environmental benefit information disclosure of green bonds."
The third category focuses on the distinctive cultural customs of the Greater Bay Area. It includes 3 standards: "Chao cuisine fish balls," "Chao cuisine ginger vinegar eggs," and "Imported fish glue traceability regulations." Fish balls and ginger vinegar eggs are famous dishes in Chao cuisine, while fish glue is a popular tonic among residents of the Greater Bay Area. The development of related "Bay Area Standards" will help preserve and inherit traditional dietary culture, and promote the transformation towards industrialization and marketization.
