The head of the National Energy Administration met with the Director of the Energy Market Authority of Singapore.

On May 19, Wang Hongzhi, Director of the National Energy Administration, met with visiting Chief Executive of the Singapore Energy Market Authority, Pan Guoqiang in Beijing. The two sides exchanged in-depth views on promoting energy cooperation between China and Singapore. Wang Hongzhi stated that energy is an important field for practical cooperation between China and Singapore. The two countries maintain close communication on various multilateral platforms, with mutual investment by enterprises and extensive cooperation in electricity, oil and gas, energy storage, and renewable energy. The future cooperation space is vast, with broad prospects. The National Energy Administration of China is willing to continue to work with Singapore to further enhance existing cooperation mechanisms, strengthen dialogue and communication, and jointly take China-Singapore energy cooperation to a new level.
