According to CCTV News, on the local time 20th, US President special envoy Richard Grenell confirmed that the US government will extend the operating license of Chevron, an oil company in Venezuela, for 60 days. This decision was made after Joseph Saint Clair was released. The former US Air Force officer has been detained in Venezuela since November 2024 on suspicion of involvement in terrorist activities. It is understood that Chevron is currently the last oil company operated by the US in Venezuela.
