Guangdong: Encourage the use of subsidies for purchasing houses, housing vouchers and other forms of support for rural residents moving into cities according to local conditions.

Recently, the Comprehensive Deepening Reform Committee of the Guangdong Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China issued "Several Measures on Promoting the High-Quality Development of 'Hundreds of Counties, Thousands of Towns, and Thousands of Villages' through Reform". Among them, it proposed improving the housing guarantee mechanism. Improve the mechanism for the high-quality development of the county real estate market, systematically promote the construction of good houses and good communities, improve the policy system and supply mechanism of affordable housing with allocation type. Encourage the issuance of purchase subsidies, optimization of housing unit number standards, commercial housing acquisition and storage, housing vouchers and other forms of support for rural migrants to buy houses in a manner appropriate to local conditions, and ensure housing needs. Improve the mechanism for the organic renewal of rural houses, and explore mechanisms for guaranteeing farmers' housing such as joint construction houses and intensive residential houses.
