Open-source Hongmeng computer, expected to be launched within the year.

On May 20th, Ascend Technology announced a partnership with Run Kai Hong to launch the open-source Hongmeng PC project. Desktop computers loaded with the open-source Hongmeng operating system are expected to be on the market by the end of the year. Industry forecasts predict that by 2030, the shipping volume of Hongmeng computers from various brands is expected to account for 40% of the entire PC market. The day before, Huawei officially launched two Hongmeng computers in Chengdu, the first official release of the Hongmeng operating system on computers. On the same day, Ascend Technology showcased engineering machines loaded with the open-source Hongmeng system, with only a few applications installed. It was reported that the engineering machines for open-source Hongmeng computers are mainly targeted at Hongmeng enthusiasts. According to the company's current self-developed progress, it is expected that related products will be available to end consumers in 6 months.
