The private secretary and consultant of a city mayor in Mexico was attacked and killed.

On May 20th local time, Mexican President Sinbaum stated that the mayor of Mexico City, Claudia Bruga, reported that her administrative team was attacked by armed assailants in the early hours of the day, resulting in the deaths of the mayor's personal secretary and one advisor. According to initial information, the attack occurred on the main road Tralpan Avenue in the city center, with the suspects believed to have used motorcycles to carry out the shooting. The investigation into the incident has already been launched.
