Three departments issued the "Key Points of Deepening the Scale Deployment and Application of IPv6 by 2025".

Recently, the Cyberspace Administration of China, National Development and Reform Commission, and Ministry of Industry and Information Technology have jointly issued the "Key Points for Deepening the Scale Deployment and Application of IPv6 in 2025". The "Key Points" specify the work goal for 2025: by the end of 2025, to comprehensively build a globally leading IPv6 technology, industry, infrastructure, application, and security system. The number of active IPv6 users is expected to reach 850 million, the number of IoT IPv6 connections to reach 1.1 billion, fixed network IPv6 traffic to account for 27%, and mobile network IPv6 traffic to account for 70%.
