On the 20th, Chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) Wang Yang met with Mexican Chamber of Deputies President Gutierrez in Beijing. Wang Yang pointed out that in November 2024, President Xi Jinping and President Sinbaum of Mexico held a meeting during the G20 Leaders' Summit, indicating the direction for the development of China-Mexico relations. China is willing to work with Mexico to actively implement the important consensus reached by the two heads of state, deepen practical cooperation, strengthen cultural exchanges, jointly uphold multilateralism, and continuously elevate the China-Mexico comprehensive strategic partnership to a new level. The CPPCC is willing to contribute to the development of bilateral relations between the two countries. Gutierrez stated that although Mexico and China are far apart geographically, the friendship between the two peoples runs deep. Mexico congratulates and admires the tremendous achievements made by China, and is willing to strengthen cooperation with China in trade, technology, education, and personnel training to jointly uphold multilateralism. The Mexican Chamber of Deputies is willing to enhance friendly exchanges with the CPPCC and promote the continuous development of the comprehensive strategic partnership between Mexico and China.
