How important is the polar region to the global sustainable development goals? The latest research by Chinese scientists reveals.

Recently, the international journal "Nature Communications" published the latest research results of Chinese scientists on the status and role of the polar regions in achieving global sustainable development goals. The study shows that all 17 goals of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals may be affected by the polar regions, and the polar regions may have become a "weak link" limiting the global achievement of the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
