Raphael Bostic, President of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta, reiterated his expectation of a rate cut this year while expressing concerns about inflation. "Given the trajectory of our two mandates, I am very concerned about inflation mainly because we see expectations changing in a concerning way," Bostic said in an interview on Monday, referring to consumers' expectations of future price increases.
