Data released by the Hong Kong Stock Exchange shows that on May 19, a total of 611 Hong Kong stocks were shorted, with a total short selling amount of 22.222 billion Hong Kong dollars. Among them, there are 50 stocks with short selling amounts exceeding 1 billion Hong Kong dollars, with BYD Company, Tencent Holdings, and Meituan-W being the top three in terms of short selling amounts at 14.78 billion Hong Kong dollars, 13.65 billion Hong Kong dollars, and 13.58 billion Hong Kong dollars, respectively.
