The 28th Annual Meeting of the International Commission on Large Dams discusses the construction of integrated water and wind power storage bases.

The 28th Congress of the International Commission on Large Dams and the 93rd Annual Meeting "Construction of Water Scenic and Energy Storage Integrated Base" Seminar was held in Chengdu, Sichuan on May 18th. Experts at the meeting exchanged ideas and experiences on the exploration and development of integrated water scenic and energy storage bases in the Yalong River basin against the backdrop of global green and low-carbon transformation. Deng Chao, director of the Sichuan Energy Bureau, said that Sichuan has inherent advantages in the development of integrated water scenic and energy storage bases, and is currently planning to construct four integrated water scenic and energy storage bases in the upstream Jinsha River, downstream Jinsha River, Yalong River basin, and the upper and middle reaches of the Dadu River.
