According to reports, OpenAI is planning an unprecedented collaboration with the technology company G42 in the United Arab Emirates capital, Abu Dhabi: to build a 10-square-mile data center park in the desert with a power consumption of up to 5 gigawatts. If realized, this scale will make it one of the largest AI infrastructure in the world. OpenAI's participation in the data center project in Abu Dhabi is an important part of its "Stargate" program. This program aims to create a supercomputing cluster designed specifically for training and running advanced AI models to meet the growing demand for computing power. It is reported that the facility covers an area of up to 10 square miles and consumes power equivalent to five nuclear reactors, far surpassing any existing AI infrastructure announced by OpenAI and its competitors. OpenAI has not yet responded to requests for comments, but from a different perspective, the facility is larger than Monaco.
