Many Indian universities have suspended academic ties with Turkey. Indian people are boycotting Turkish products.

After India launched the "Vermilion Operation" against Pakistan, Turkey and Azerbaijan quickly expressed their support for Pakistan, leading to a deterioration of India's diplomatic and trade relations with the two countries. Indian citizens called for a boycott of Turkish products, services, and tourism on social media, and the boycott escalated into a larger rift. On the 15th, the Indian Civil Aviation Department stated in an order that, for national security reasons, the contract of an Indian airport service company under the Turkish elebi company would be revoked. In addition, many Indian universities, including Nehru University and Jamia University, have also suspended academic ties with Turkish educational institutions. On the 16th, 125 Indian trading companies decided that the Indian business community will completely boycott all trade and commercial relations with Turkey and Azerbaijan.
