On May 17th, Liuzhou Hydrological Center issued a situation report: Recently, some netizens reported that a water level station under construction in Luzhai County had iron pieces and spikes installed on the handrails of the stairs, posing a safety hazard. In order to ensure the safety of the surrounding residents, the center immediately organized a verification process, taking into account the suggestions from the media and netizens, and decided to dismantle the station. The dismantling was completed on May 14th. Water level stations are important infrastructure for safeguarding water safety and are crucial for flood control, drought resistance, and water resources management.
