Guangxi Longlin sudden mountain flood kills 3 and leaves 1 missing

The Emergency Management Bureau of Longlin Autonomous County, Baise City, Guangxi learned that from May 16th to 17th, due to the influence of high-altitude troughs and low-level shear lines, some townships in Longlin Autonomous County experienced heavy rain to torrential rain, and locally heavy rain weather. The heavy rainfall caused flooding in Yancha Township, leading to the loss of contact with 4 people who were temporarily living in a shed on the South Huaitun Mountain in Lendu Village. After the incident, the Party Committee and government of Longlin Autonomous County organized emergency, public security, fire, health and other departments to carry out rescue and disposal. As of the time of this report, 3 people have been found during the search and rescue, all showing no signs of life, while 1 missing person is still being searched for.
