The 2025 World Telecommunication and Information Society Day and the 160th Anniversary of the establishment of the International Telecommunication Union was held in Nanchang, Jiangxi Province. Zhang Yunming, Vice Minister of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and Chairman of the China Communications Society, stated that they will accelerate the research and development, industry cultivation, and application development of 5G and 6G technologies, empowering the construction of a modern industrial system; pay more attention to meeting the needs of enterprise development, improve basic systems such as market access, fair competition, and credit management, promote the coordinated development of the industrial chain, and promote the integration of large, medium and small enterprises, cultivating and expanding new high-quality production forces; pay more attention to meeting the needs of economic transformation, deepen the cross-regional and cross-industry coordinated construction of new types of network infrastructure, promote the integration of industrial internet into industrial parks, bases, and clusters, serving the high-end, intelligent, and green development of the manufacturing industry, helping to build a modern economic system; pay more attention to meeting the needs of international cooperation, deepen international exchanges and cooperation in various fields such as technology, standards, industry, and policies, actively participate in global digital governance bilateral and multilateral consultations and mechanism construction, and better integrate into the international industrial development pattern.
