According to reports, personal information of Sequoia Capital partner Roelof Botha was stolen in connection with the Coinbase hack, including his phone number, address, and sensitive data related to his Coinbase account. This is the first disclosure of information about Botha being leaked, indicating that hackers are targeting top industry professionals. Botha is a member of the "PayPal Mafia," having previously worked with Peter Thiel and Elon Musk. He joined Sequoia Capital in 2003, invested in YouTube and Instagram, and was promoted to the top executive at Sequoia in 2022.
