North Korea said it will take countermeasures in various fields to respond to US hostile provocations.

The spokesperson of the North Korean Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement on the 16th, stating that recently, the US State Department, on the grounds of not cooperating with its "counterterrorism efforts," re-designated the Democratic People's Republic of Korea as a "country that does not cooperate with counterterrorism efforts," engaging in political provocation. The spokesperson stated that the Democratic People's Republic of Korea will never tolerate any external forces attempting to infringe on its national dignity, sovereignty, and security interests, and will take effective and appropriate countermeasures in various fields to respond to US hostile provocations.
