London stock market rises on the 16th.

On the 16th, the Financial Times Stock Exchange 100 Index (FTSE 100) in London closed at 8684.56, up 50.81 points from the previous trading day, an increase of 0.59%. The three major stock indexes in Europe all rose that day. In terms of individual stocks, financial stocks led the way in the London Stock Exchange, with the top five stocks in terms of increase being: British American Tobacco rose 3.57%, GlaxoSmithKline rose 2.35%, St. James's Place Financial Investment rose 2.15%, Scottish Mortgage Investment Trust rose 1.95%, and F&C Investment Trust rose 1.93%.
