Shanghai issues measures to facilitate the inspection of imported consumer goods for the first time.

On May 16th, the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Commerce and Shanghai Customs jointly held a press conference on the "Convenience Measures for Inspection of Imported Consumer Goods for the First Launch Economy". It was learned from the press conference that in response to the demands for customs clearance facilitation by consumer goods headquarters enterprises, Shanghai Customs implemented relevant arrangements of the General Administration of Customs and recently jointly issued the "Announcement on the Pilot Implementation of Convenient Inspection Measures for the First Launch of Imported Consumer Goods" with the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Commerce. They have pioneered a innovative model of "white list + differentiated qualification assessment" nationwide, to speed up and improve the efficiency of importing consumer goods for the first launch, significantly enhancing the sense of acquisition for enterprises.
