Recently, the Shanghai Bill Exchange issued a "Notice on Pilot Provision of Limited Recourse Services for Supply Chain Bills" and "Limited Recourse Service Operation Guidelines". On May 16th, the first batch of supply chain bill limited recourse services were successfully launched.

COMEX gold futures fell by 0.79% to $3201.10 per ounce, with a weekly cumulative decline of 4.32% (which was 4.62% in the week of November 15, 2024) after falling to $3123.30 on Thursday. The Philadelphia Gold and Silver Index fell by 0.11% to 178.36 points, with a weekly cumulative decline of 7.35%. Spot silver fell by 1.06% to $32.2931 per ounce, with a weekly cumulative decline of 1.32%. COMEX silver futures fell by 1.13% to $32.430 per ounce, with a weekly cumulative decline of 1.50%. COMEX copper futures fell by 1.96% to $4.5915 per pound, with a weekly cumulative decline of 1.32%.

Moody's has downgraded the United States' credit rating from AAA to AA1. Moody's stated that the downgrade reflects the increase in government debt; by 2035, the burden of the US federal debt is expected to rise to 134% of GDP; it is projected that by 2035, the US federal government deficit will reach 9% of GDP; adjustments made in response to tariffs may slow down GDP growth.
