Huo Bugang has been appointed as the Secretary of the Shenyang Municipal Party Committee.

On May 16th, a leadership cadre conference was held in Shenyang City, announcing the decision of the CPC Central Committee on the major leadership adjustments of the Shenyang City Committee. Hao Peng, the Secretary of the Liaoning Provincial Party Committee, attended and delivered a speech. At the meeting, Jiang Tianbao, member of the Provincial Party Committee and Minister of the Organization Department, read out the decisions of the Central and Provincial Committees. The CPC Central Committee approved Comrade Huo Bugang as the Secretary of the Shenyang Municipal Committee of Liaoning Province. The Provincial Committee decided that Comrade Huo Bugang would also serve as a member and standing committee member of the Shenyang City Committee.
