The 13F report shows that the American billionaire and hedge fund legend Bill Ackman founded and personally steered the Pershing Square Capital Management company, which bought one new stock and increased holdings in three other stocks in the first quarter, while completely clearing out one stock and reducing holdings in four other stocks. The top ten holdings accounted for 99.5% of the total market value of the portfolio. The top ten heavy positions are concentrated in the non-essential consumer goods, real estate, and IT industries. In the first quarter, the new position taken in the ride-hailing giant Uber immediately became the top holding for the institution, while Google-A, another top holding, saw increased holdings. Other positions were either reduced or remained unchanged.
