CATL has reportedly expanded its fundraising scale to $4.6 billion.

According to reports, Contemporary Amperex Technology Co. Ltd. (CATL) has set the IPO price in Hong Kong at 263 Hong Kong dollars per share, with the offering size increased to 135.6 million shares, excluding the over-allotment option. Under the terms, CATL's base offering size is 1.179 billion shares, with the exercise of the over-allotment option of 17.7 million shares, raising $4.6 billion. If CATL exercises the over-allotment option, the total amount raised could reach up to $5.3 billion. The stock is expected to be listed on May 20. Bank of America Securities, CICC, Citic Securities, and Morgan Stanley are the joint sponsors.
