A report from Bank of America Merrill Lynch Securities stated that Indonesia's GDP growth may further slow down in the second and third quarters, as the support from domestic policies will take some time to have a more significant impact. The report suggested that the first quarter GDP growth of the country slowed down due to the drag from domestic policy adjustments offsetting the boost from exports. The largest economy in Southeast Asia grew by 4.87% year-on-year in the first quarter, down from 5.02% in the previous quarter.
