On Thursday afternoon in New York, the yield on US 10-year Treasury bonds fell by 8.91 basis points to 4.4472%, continuing to decline throughout the day. It briefly turned higher after the release of US retail sales data at 20:30 Beijing time, hitting a daily low of 4.4374% at 01:13. The yield on US 2-year bonds fell by 8.79 basis points to 3.9629%, starting to decline at 14:00 and hitting a daily low of 3.9587% at 03:23. The 2/10-year US Treasury yield spread remained roughly flat at +48.227 basis points, climbing significantly after the release of PPI data and hitting a daily high of +51.942 basis points at 20:54.
