According to reports, the U.S. Department of Justice is investigating possible health insurance fraud by UnitedHealth Group (UNH.US). The report stated that the criminal division of the Department of Justice's healthcare fraud department is overseeing the investigation and has been actively investigating since at least last summer. UnitedHealth Insurance Company stated that it has not yet received notice from the Department of Justice regarding the investigation and is committed to the integrity of its health insurance plans.
