Fluctuations in export orders to the United States after the tariff adjustment still leave companies facing uncertainty.
Journalists recently visited multiple foreign trade companies and listed companies involved in exports to the United States, and learned that the 90-day window period does have an impact on export orders. Some foreign trade companies said they are gradually fulfilling orders that were previously delayed, while the small commodity city of Yiwu reported a surge in orders to the United States in recent days, accompanied by an increase in booking prices for American-bound shipments. However, behind the surge in orders is more of a result of hedging and fear of policy uncertainty. Some industry insiders believe that localizing operations or expanding into new markets is a more effective measure to spread the risk.
