Gansu Province issues yellow alert for drought.

The Lanzhou Central Meteorological Observatory issued a yellow warning for meteorological drought in Gansu Province on May 15, 2025 at 15:30. According to the latest monitoring, meteorological drought in many parts of Qingyang City, Dingxi City, and Pingliang City in Gansu Province, as well as the southern part of Baiyin City, the northern part of Weinan in Tianshui City, and the northern part of Longnan City has reached moderate to severe levels. It is expected that in the next 7 days, most parts of the province will not have effective precipitation, and the meteorological drought will continue and intensify. Please take relevant precautionary measures.
