On May 15th, the Geely Auto 2025 first quarter performance conference and "One Geely" strategic integration plan briefing was held in Hangzhou. Li Donghui, CEO of Geely Holding Group and Vice Chairman and Executive Director of Geely Auto Holdings Limited, introduced the arrangements for the proposed merger between Geely Auto Holdings Limited and Jikey Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. Li Donghui stated that synergistic integration is an important strategy for Geely Holding Group. Last year, Geely Auto made comprehensive progress in various fields such as basic technology, product research and development, manufacturing, and procurement under the synergy. The next step will be to work together under the leadership of a common management team to a great extent in the front and back-end functions while brands face their respective customer groups and carry out product design separately. The goal is to achieve significant savings of tens of billions of yuan in research and development, procurement, and reduce management and marketing expenses simultaneously.
