The reporter learned from the Agricultural Bank of China that in response to the incident where a customer passed away while withdrawing money due to a serious illness, the Zhuzhou Branch of Agricultural Bank of China has promptly established a special working group to fully cooperate with the public security organs in conducting investigations and will assist the family in handling the aftermath. On May 14th, a netizen posted on social media that their aunt, who was paralyzed and had broken her leg, was hospitalized and had entrusted her daughter to go to the Agricultural Bank of China's Tianxin Branch in Zhuzhou to withdraw the last 50,000 yuan of her fixed-term deposit. However, they were rejected. The netizen claimed that the bank staff, knowing that the depositor was in poor health, still insisted that the person come in person and did not actively provide services that could have been done on-site. Eventually, the aunt was carried in a wheelchair by her family to the bank to process the withdrawal, and unfortunately, she passed away during the process.
