In recent years, natural resources departments across the country have made great efforts to resolve historical legacy issues in real estate registration. More than 20 million historical legacy houses have been resolved nationwide, and various outstanding issues have been effectively resolved. The Ministry of Natural Resources stated that in response to historical legacy issues related to real estate registration such as incomplete land procedures, extinct development subjects, and inconsistent real estate information, natural resources authorities at all levels have actively issued policy documents to help the public solve urgent problems such as difficult asset transfer and difficult enrollment in schools. As of now, more than 20 million historical legacy houses have been resolved nationwide, benefiting over 50 million people. In particular, since 2024, over 3.4 million long-standing cross-departmental "tough problems" have been resolved nationwide.
